In early 2024, Johns Hopkins acquired 114 acres in Pasco County for $24 million, located off Interstate 75 at Overpass Road in Wesley Chapel, with plans to build a new facility, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The groundbreaking is scheduled for March 27, 2025, with construction expected to begin by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
The new facility will feature 56 beds, an imaging center, diagnostic testing, a pharmacy, an outpatient center, dining options, and outdoor spaces.
