Texas Health Huguley’s Opens $75M Tower And Medical City Dallas’ Modular Offsite ER
Texas Health Huguley Hospital will celebrate the grand opening of its $75 million, five-story, 116,000-square-foot critical care tower later this month.
The tower, which has two stories shelved for future growth, will double the size of the emergency department, increase patient rooms from 24 to 44, and double the number of ambulance bays from three to six.
There will be a new medical intensive care unit with 20 patient rooms, a 25 percent increase from its previous location, and new oncology and dining areas.
The opening of the efficiently designed tower coincides with the pursuit of a Level III Trauma status, which the hospital expects to obtain this summer.
