UF Health Opens New Patient Tower In North Jacksonville

UF Health Jacksonville has opened a new 124-room patient tower in North Jacksonville.

The tower at 15255 Max Leggett Parkway includes six floors, two of them dedicated to acute physical therapy. Two more floors will be used for acute care, and one floor will be used primarily for ancillary servies.

The new tower includes a collaboration between UF Health and Select Medical, which provides physical rehabilitation services throughout the country. The second and third floors of the new hospital include bed space, a dedicated gymnasium, outdoor space and other resources to help patients recover as quickly as possible.

UF Health North opened the first phase of the campus in 2015 — a medical office building that includes a 24/7 emergency room, outpatient surgery suites, imaging and other diagnostic services, and four floors of physicians’ offices.

Phase 2 opened in May 2017 with a 92-bed inpatient tower that consists of five floors, four with all private patient rooms.
