The online retail giant said it is putting the “Amazon Clinic” brand virtual health business under the Amazon One Medical brand. The change, which will eliminate the “Amazon Clinic” name, will be effective immediately.
The Jupiter, Florida-based real estate investment company will use the funds to acquire health care facilities in Texas, Ohio and Connecticut — one facility each. Healing Realty Trust is focused on developing real estate for clinics that house novel behavioral health treatments, especially psychedelic-assisted therapies.
The office building will be home to TMH Physician Partners-Primary Care, an urgent care center, an ambulatory surgery center and cardiology services. The Bay County Economic Alliance expects the medical office to be complete in the next few months. Meanwhile, the city plans to have its first in-patient hospital built in the next three years.
