Covering more than 47 acres, the East Bend could rank among the most significant projects of its kind in American history.
Covering more than 47 acres with approved plans for diverse uses, including infrastructure and public enhancements, city leaders believe the East Bend could rank among the most significant projects of its kind in American history—measured by scale, cost, and economic impact—on par with developments like Hudson Yards.
Early plans suggest the district could accommodate a wide range of uses, including up to 12 hotels, more than 7,000 residential units, at least 2 million square feet of office and medical office space, multiple family entertainment venues, and extensive retail space featuring anchor tenants, dining, and locally focused businesses.
Strategically located at the heart of Nashville’s next phase of growth, the site sits one block south of the new 60,000-seat Nissan Stadium, set to open in 2027, one block east of the planned Tennessee Performing Arts Center currently moving toward construction, and directly across the Cumberland River.
