AI-Powered IVF Robotics Hub Coming To East Dallas

Madrid-based biotechnology firm Overture Life is opening a new facility in Dallas to serve as its U.S. clinical operations headquarters.

The site will focus on non-invasive embryo assessment testing that assists clinicians in selecting embryos for in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The company, which combines artificial intelligence and robotics to expand access, improve precision, and increase efficiency in the IVF process, currently operates in Latin America and Europe. Its U.S. hub will relocate from San Antonio to Dallas in early 2026.

“The decision to move was driven by Dallas’ strong biotech workforce—27,000 professionals across 850 companies—and its connectivity,” said CEO Hans Gangeskar, a Virginia-based lawyer and software engineer. “The most important thing for this facility is lab talent and a responsive regulatory climate. Dallas has both, and with frequent direct flights to Virginia, Palo Alto, and Madrid, it’s the perfect hub for us.”

Overture’s AI-driven IVF platforms aim to increase treatment capacity and reduce patient wait times. Currently, U.S. clinicians perform about 900 IVF cycles per million women, compared to more than 3,000 cycles in Europe. The Dallas lab will focus on analyzing the fluid surrounding stored embryos, providing fertility specialists with insights without the need for invasive biopsies.

Growing demand is also driving interest in DaVitri, Overture’s automated egg-freezing system, which uses robotics to improve egg survival rates by 12% and boost clinic capacity by 300% without additional staff. The company’s ICSI.A system—a robotic sperm-injection technology—helped deliver the world’s first babies conceived via robotic fertilization in 2024. Overture’s systems are already in use in clinics across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Panama, Turkey, and New Jersey, with ongoing collaborations in Texas and nationwide to achieve FDA approval.

By January 2026, Overture will occupy 4,501 square feet in the Bogart Building on Ross Avenue in East Dallas. Backed by Google Ventures, the company is investing several million dollars to convert the space into a state-of-the-art lab, installing advanced equipment, ventilation, and power infrastructure. The firm plans to hire across product development, clinical operations, laboratory operations, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs.

Repurposing office space for biotech use is an emerging trend in North Texas—mirrored by projects like NexPoint’s Texas Research Quarter in Plano.

“The infrastructure we’re establishing here—from our non-invasive embryo assessment technology to quality systems—lays the foundation for scaling automated fertility care across the U.S.,” said Hafsa Irfan, Overture’s Head of Clinical Operations for Dallas.

“Ultimately, the Dallas expansion reflects Overture Life’s mission to make IVF more accessible and affordable,” said Gangeskar. “IVF is one of the most intimate and expensive medical procedures families face. We need more clinics and greater capacity so families don’t have to wait as long to grow.”
