Flagship Healthcare Properties Breaks Ground On Florida Medical Pavilion In Wesley Chapel

Flagship Healthcare Properties has broken ground on Wiregrass Ranch Medical Pavilion I, a 46,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical office building in Wesley Chapel.

Stakeholders marked the milestone at the site located at Strickland Avenue and Wiregrass Ranch Boulevard. Construction is expected to take approximately 11 months, with initial tenants anticipated to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The medical pavilion is located along a major north–south corridor within Wiregrass Ranch, a 5,000-acre master-planned lifestyle community established by the Porter Family in 1942. Once home to cattle ranching and citrus groves, Wiregrass Ranch has evolved through generations of long-term planning into a vibrant community featuring residential neighborhoods, schools, green space, trails and institutional uses.

Wiregrass Ranch Medical Pavilion I is situated directly across from the future 102-bed Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in spring 2026. The site is also across from Legacy Wiregrass Ranch, a planned large-scale mixed-use development that will include more than 3,000 residential units, along with hotels, office space and retail.

Florida ENT & Allergy, which operates 13 locations throughout the region, will anchor the project. Ownership of the medical pavilion will be a joint venture among Flagship Healthcare Trust, the Porter Family and Florida ENT & Allergy, with Flagship Healthcare Properties serving as developer and managing member.
