Women’s Health Company Diana Health Raises $55M To Expand

Diana Health, a women’s health company partnering with hospitals to deliver holistic care, has raised $55 million in Series C funding to scale its innovative model.

The round was led by HealthQuest Capital, with continued support from Norwest, .406 Ventures, LRVHealth, and AlleyCorp, bringing the company’s total funding to $101 million.

The new capital will fuel Diana’s expansion, including growing its physical presence, enhancing clinical programs, and advancing its digital platform. As part of the raise, Witney McKiernan of HealthQuest Capital and Dr. Neel Shah, Chief Medical Officer at Maven Clinic, have joined Diana Health’s board of directors.

“We invested because Diana Health aligns clinicians and hospitals around clear goals, measurable outcomes, and sustainable women’s health and maternity programs—areas that have traditionally been hard to scale,” McKiernan told Fierce Healthcare.

Founded in 2020, Diana Health designs and operates women’s health programs in partnership with hospitals—either integrated within labor and delivery units or offered through outpatient clinics. Currently, the company collaborates with nine hospital systems across Tennessee, Florida, and Texas.

Diana’s model brings together certified nurse-midwives, OB-GYNs, and mental health professionals to provide longer appointment times and wraparound care, including nutritional counseling and mental health services. The company serves more than 80,000 women annually.

Comprehensive Services Across Settings

In outpatient clinics, Diana offers a broad range of services, including:

  • Sexual health
  • Pre-conception and prenatal care
  • Management of gynecological conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis
  • Perimenopause and menopause support
  • Nutrition counseling

For inpatient care, Diana staffs hospitals with nurse-midwives and OBs to support labor and delivery, aiming to reduce unnecessary C-sections and improve maternal outcomes—a critical focus, given the U.S. ranks among the worst developed nations for maternal health.

“By improving both the patient experience and the quality of care, hospitals can build lasting, trusted programs that earn women’s loyalty over time,” said Kate Condliffe, Diana Health’s co-founder and CEO.

Elevating the Midwifery

Dr. Shah emphasized the value of midwife-led care:

“When midwives are at the center of care, families are healthier, and communities thrive. Diana Health is proving that elevating midwifery can lead to care that’s evidence-based, relationship-driven, and aligned with what women truly want.”

Tech-Enabled, Patient-Centered

Diana also offers a custom patient app, integrated with its EHR partner AthenaHealth, to support patients throughout their care journey. The app delivers educational content, tracks goals, enables telehealth, and keeps patients engaged between visits.

The company is also investing in AI capabilities, including Ambience Healthcare’s AI-powered scribe, and plans to enhance data insights for providers to support clinical decision-making.

Measuring What Matters

Diana tracks success across multiple dimensions, including:

  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) — currently in the mid-80s
  • Provider satisfaction and turnover
  • Key perinatal metrics, such as C-section rates, preterm births, NICU admissions, postpartum hemorrhage, and newborn complications

“We’ve seen dramatic improvements across all indicators,” said Condliffe, noting that outcomes are consistent across both Medicaid and commercially insured patients.

With this new funding, Diana Health aims to deepen its impact by expanding access to its integrated, patient-first model of care—designed to meet the full spectrum of women’s health needs.
