Welltower announced $14 billion in transactions—either completed or under contract—to support the pivot toward rental senior living. Demographic projections show the number of Americans aged 80 and older will grow by more than 4 million by 2030, reaching 18.8 million.
The new, one-story, 12,170-square-foot medical office building will provide urgent care, primary care, imaging, and physical therapy services to the area’s rapidly growing population. UCHealth anticipates welcoming its first patients in the spring.
The portfolio comprises over 700,000 square feet in 13 states.
